Mr. Kebareileng Lebalang

Head of Information and Communication Technology

Mr. Kebareileng Lebalang assumed the role of Head of Information and Communications Technology in July 2023. His role is to lead and direct the strategic and operational activities of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) function including the development and implementation of information, communication and technology strategies, plans, governance, policies, procedures, and projects to ensure automation of key business processes and the availability, reliability, security, and stability of the ICT systems of BDC and its subsidiaries.

With a career spanning over twenty years, Mr. Lebalang possesses extensive expertise in the field of Information Technology. His knowledge encompasses ICT Strategy development and execution, IT governance, network systems administration, systems analysis, and information management. Much of his professional journey has been devoted to BDC, where he advanced through the ranks to his current position as Head of ICT.

Mr. Lebalang holds a Masters Degree in Project Management and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, both earned from the University of Botswana. In 2021, he completed the Management Development Program at the University of Stellenbosch. Additionally, he holds a professional certification in Digital Transformation from the University of Virginia, achieved in May 2023.
