As of March 2020, the outbreak of the prevalent coronavirus (COVID-19) has been declared a public health emergency of international concern by the World Health Organisation (WHO). In view of the call to action by Government and the steep growth of cases in our trading partners and neighbouring countries BDC has now put in place heightened measures to protect its employees, clientele and broader stakeholders.This public notice therefore serves to announce to our stakeholde
rs that the Corporation will move to have majority of its employees work from home with immediate effect to minimise social contact and the risk of infection for all. By the same token we request our valued stakeholders to limit visitations to our offices to a bare minimum for the safety of all.
We wish to assure all our stakeholders that the Corporation will ensure that all business activities continue to run as smoothly as possible during this period. We commit to keeping all our stakeholders updated on new developments as we continue to monitor and evaluate the situation to ensure response in line with Government’s guidelines and recommendations.
